Bentley had pulled out all stops at its centenary celebration by unveiling the ground-breaking EXP 100 GT concept car in Crewe, the brand’s headquarters. Now the British luxury carmaker has revealed a set of images depicting the stunning concept car in action.

The Bentley EXP 200 GT is the embodiment of the brand’s future direction. The concept car will go beyond mere mobility and enhance the driver’s Grand Touring experience, whether driving or being driven autonomously.

Bentley EXP 100 GT Concept Car

The EXP 100 GT is quintessentially a Bentley Grand Tourer, but catapulted into the year 2035.

Inspired by Bentley’s deep understanding of the desires of its intelligent, forward-thinking customers, the EXP 100 GT is a thoroughbred made up of Crewe’s DNA. Styled tastefully, it also features artificial intelligence as a means to reassert the car as a place for creating, experiencing, and capturing extraordinary human experiences and emotions.

With its new concept car, Bentley is also embracing electric mobility, as evidenced by the GT’s electric powertrain. The Bentley EXP 100 GT is essentially Crewe’s vision for the Grand Tourer of the year 2035. This is the era of shared luxury experiences where driver and passenger enjoy equal status in their enjoyment of exceptional journeys. The car’s commanding presence and impressive exterior proportions are reminiscent of many of Bentley’s grand touring cars of old, but takes these hallmarks into the future.

This results in the EXP 100 GT becoming a future vision commensurate with Bentley’s status as the world’s most sought-after luxury brand. Following an illustrious showing at the prestigious Monterey Car Week, Bentley has immersed itself into researching and producing future-forward cars. These cars will reaffirm the Crewe-based automaker’s position as a firm that makes not only luxury grand touring cars, but also one that can deliver cutting-edge technology hand-in-hand with luxury.

Bentley EXP 100 GT

Although the family resemblacne is clear, the EXP 100 GT is poles apart from current Bentleys when it comes to motive power and interiors. No compromise on luxury, however.

Apart from the modern ambitions of the EXP 100 GT, Bentley also intends to showcase its sustainable side. Materials used to upholster the cabin are all organic and natural. This has led to the firm achieving an exceptionally well-appointed interior space of the EXP 100 GT. Although outright introduction of the all-natural cabin is probably not commercially feasible yet, it does go to show how serious Bentley is about sustainability.

Coupled with the electric powertrain, the interiors mark the concept car as one that does not affect the environment in exchange for luxury. More than anything else, these little details are what make the Bentley EXP 100 GT the unique car it is. Expect a lot of the technology showcased aboard the GT to trickle down to road-going models coming out of Crewe, England.
