Bentayga EWB beyond expectations
Bentley Emirates’ “A Journey Beyond Expectation” highlights the launching of its all-new Bentley Bentayga Extended Wheelbase. Part of this exclusive drive event is the appearance of Bentley’s class-leading SUV in the UAE.
The “A Journey Beyond Expectation”, organized by Bentley Emirates saw the gathering of almost 150 Bentley owners and enthusiasts driven in a convoy from Dubai Harbour to Expo City led by the Dubai Police. This is part of the six-month-long expo as it comes close to its end.
“With the launch of the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase in the UAE, we are introducing a new grand touring SUV that builds on the strengths of the current model to usher in a new level of space, comfort, and luxury,” Joseph Tayar, General Manager of the Prestige Division, Al Habtoor Motors said.
The exclusive event drive ended at Expo City’s Surreal partnered with a dinner made even more remarkable with Lebanese/Armenian musician, composer, and pianist, Guy Manoukian.
Bentayga EWB’s interior features
The Bentayga Extended Wheelbase (EWB) stands by its name by having an extended wheelbase and rear cabin of 180mm. This gives the car its overall length of 5322mm. Its increased length caters to a luxurious rear cabin area with the introduction of the world’s first auto climate and advanced postural adjustment rear set.
The postural adjustment technology of the car features a Relax Mode and Business Mode. In Relax Mode, the seat reclines to 40 degrees, the front passenger seat will then deploy a leather-trimmed footrest from its back. While Business Mode gives a more comfortable sitting with its most upright position.
When it comes to technology, the Bentayga EWB has auto climate seat technology that can sense occupant temperature and surface humidity. It can determine whether or not to apply heat and/or ventilation for the occupant’s thermal well-being.
The interior also features a Bentley Diamond Illumination and the first for Bentayga, the Electronic All Wheel Steering.
Bentayga was first unveiled in 2015, and since then, it has defined the growth of the luxury SUV through its extraordinary performance and capabilities. Moreover, it has remained one of Bentley’s best-selling models.
Joseph Tayar added, “Through this event, “A Journey Beyond Expectations”, we have provided our customers with an opportunity to explore the car, while also getting a chance to experience a key name associated with the brand, Guy Manoukian, who gave guests an exclusive peek into his music at Expo City.”
