KC12 is defying conventional limits
Ferrari has finally unwrapped the covers for its one-off creation that definitely snatched the attention of supercar enthusiasts, the KC23. Built for a passionate and imaginative customer, this exclusive masterpiece combines the best of Ferrari’s racing heritage with a glimpse into the future of automotive design. Born from the collaboration between Ferrari’s Centro Stile and an imaginative and passionate customer, this breathtaking creation came from Ferrari’s Special Projects program.
With more than three years in the making, KC23 was based on the highly successful 488 GT3 Evo, one of Ferrari’s most successful racing vehicles. The name “KC23” likely represents the initials of the collector behind this extraordinary creation.
Underneath its mesmerizing exterior, the KC23 boasts a 3.9-liter, flat-plane twin-turbo V8 engine, similar to its GT3 counterpart. This generates a formidable 591 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque; with this, the KC23 can deliver exhilarating speed and power on the track.
In and out prowess of KC23
Ferrari displays “a monolithic beauty, as if it were sculpted from a single block of metal”. The KC23 is further enhanced by a giant, removable rear wing and motorized air intake vents that automatically spring to life upon starting the engine. Complementing the car’s aerodynamic prowess are striking two-piece forged aluminum wheels, featuring racing-style center-lock hubs.
Its mesmerizing Gold Mercury paint is one of KC23’s standout features. It boasts an aluminum-like finish achieved through a four-layer paintwork infused with liquid metal. The KC23 proudly flaunts its butterfly doors, elevating its cool factor to new heights.
This exceptional machine has been meticulously redesigned to achieve its radical and timeless character, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the future of Ferrari design.
The interior of the KC23 flaunts innovative design choices, with its side cameras replacing traditional mirrors, ensuring visibility and aerodynamics. Inside, the driver is greeted by an intricately designed steering wheel featuring an impressive array of 16 controls, showcasing the vehicle’s track-focused intent. This is complemented by the custom-made Alcantara-trimmed bucket seats.
