Mercedes-Benz has boosted its footprint in the Emirate of Dubai by opening a new world-class training centre this month. The Daimler Training Centre is situated in Dubai Production City, a member of TECOM Group as well as a business hub for production and innovation. Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East (MBCME) is part of Daimler's Overseas Region Operations headquartered in Dubai. MBCME launched the training centre to consolidate Daimler's presence in the Middle East when it comes to sales, service, and brand experience. According to Mercedes-Benz's statement, the company intends to maintain global service standards in the region.

“This opening underlines Dubai’s welcoming business environment and world-class infrastructure as well as DPC’s efforts to attract global brands,” said Majed Al Suwaidi, Managing Director of Dubai Production City and Dubai Media City.

Malek Sultan Al Malek, CEO of TECOM Group was present at the occasion, inaugurating the Daimler Training Centre in presence of officials from Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East.

The Daimler Training Centre is spread over an area measuring 32,000 square metres. It is designed to offer leading in-house training to aspirants for its wide-ranging divisions which include management, sales, customer services, parts, service, as well as technical positions. Pablo Souto, Head of Training at MBCME said, “Through training and education programmes, we will maintain the global standards set by our colleagues across the world and offer Daimler network staff within the region the opportunity to learn best-in-class skills and techniques.”

The Daimler Training Centre will serve as a hub for the German automaker’s operations in the Middle Eastern region. All of the company’s production, sales, and service facilities in the region will directly benefit from homegrown talent groomed and trained at the Centre. At the very least, Mercedes-Benz’s new endeavour will unlock a multitude of employment opportunities and contribute to the region’s talent pool.
